I have finally finished the dark theme for Drupal. The site is running the theme and all pages are more-or-less correct. I had to place a lot of customised theming functions into the template.php file to make the theme work as I would like.I will continue the effort and upgrade it to Drupal 6 after the holidays..

I have almost completed the conversion of the "dark" theme to Drupal. There are still a few outstanding display issues - but for the most part it seems to work OK. I have to say that it was/is a lot of work - but I do like it...
Use wget to check URLs on a web site
From the wget manual
wget -r -nd --delete-after --no-parent --no-cookies http://whatever.com/~popular/page/

--delete-after -- delete from local machine after download

Then have a look at your web server access log and check for 404 error messages.
